About this role

The role of the QA/DevOps Analyst will be to support the team in the development and delivery of products. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and interact with a variety of tools while learning advanced practices. This role will involve working directly with engineers, designers and PMs. You will be testing and managing the quality of web and mobile apps and will become an expert in the product, writing test cases, documenting results and providing feedback. You will also be working with engineers to troubleshoot issues that may arise with internal or external users. 

As an ideal candidate

  • You are inherently curious. You want to understand products inside and out. You're interested to learn how code works so you can test and troubleshoot better.
  • Self-motivated, go-getter attitude, able to create a rigorous test plans based on the business requirements provided.
  • Have knowledge of development life cycles, agile methodology, and continuous deployment practices.
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bonus points if you have experience working with Heroku, AWS, Ruby, Java, Elixir, JSX, and/or SQL.
